It was s...l..o..wwww not a bite, nothing. No one was catching a thing. I was there from 1:30 PM — 4:30 PM and did nothing but watch dying pinks swim by. Maybe it picked up after I left, because the tide was coming in, I don't know. But other than practice my casting arm, I enjoyed some peace and quiet today. Is the Puyallup done?

I think you answered your own question...thanks for the report. The good news is that hopefully silvers will start to turn on more soon!

Hopefully . . . or have they come in already and were netted to all hell and now we have no chance at a lovely run of silvers? I caught one a few weeks ago, so I know they've been coming in. Who knows? We'll see. Heading to Sekiu with my buddy Ronman this tuesday, I'll let everyone know how that goes. Looking forward to catching a 100 lb humboldt squid (and obviously the glorious catch of a nice King or Silver).

It is still early for silvers, you should be able to get them until December. This year is supossed to be a really strong run. II you go on Tacoma News Tribune, then read their fishing report you can track the fish, as they head down the strait. Good luck at Seiku, if your nailng the silvers that means they are on the way!
