hit the sky today an hour before dawn. humpies are still moving and some are not too beat up. hooked into a silver at one point. i played with it for a minute and i threw my hook on a big acrobatic jump. i also hooked into what im guessing was a king, he was burning my drag up and when i stoped him to turn him around he jumped clean out of the water and spit my hook. my buddies and to other guys saw it all happen. and we all guess that it was in the 30# range. GIANT FISH. ill be back as soon as my old lady lets me.

ok i got this spot at the mouth of the wallace across the sky and up river about 1 to 2 hundred yards where a little creek comes in to the sky, there is a trench on that side of the river where it seems the fish move through to get up through the fast moving water. we were slaying good looking pinks all day and i seen alot of silvers jump, not to mention the one i hooked. and the whole day i was bouncing a light green squid.

Spent 10 minutes w/ Google Maps and still can't figure out where you were fishing, Spliff. Would you mind marking where you parked (not your honeyhole unless you'd like to share that) on Google Maps and replying w/ the URL? Sky is a lot closer to me than where I usually fish (on the Stilly), so I would love to check it out. Thanks!

ok. on highway 2 going east from bothell, go through monroe, shortly after sultan is the town of startup. there is a little store on the right called the start up market. take a right, rite before the market. you will go over a bridge almost imediatly, then som railroad tracks. keep right after the tracks. it will take you about a mile or 2 down that road and there will be an obvious turn out on the left where everryone parks. walk the tracks down to the rail bridge, go under the bridge. this is the wallace river. follow the river down stream about a quarter mile to the mouth where it meets the sky. the fishing is spectacular here. either on the sky or the wallace does not matter. i will create a new post about the wallace that has the hotspot marked.

i dont know if this link will work, but the directions i gave are good, and the name of the road is reese road. i think it turns into that after the tracks. its 363rd ave that you turn on off hwy 2. right by the start up market.

Thx, Spliff. The link worked just fine. I'll try to get over there one of these upcoming Satudays (early) and meetup w/ ya and limit out on silvers. :-)
