Fished the Green (Duwamish) yesterday evening. Tried at Auburn Narrows park. Fishing this river is not very fun. The channel is about 10 feet wide and everyone stands on top of it, resulting in a 10 foot cast and very short drift.
Snagged two 'pinks' that weren't very pink. They were both females that were bright (sickly looking) green. They had already spawned as feeling their bellies were empty. Released them to die.
Saw a VERY large king drifting down the river, under the water, upside-down. He was very big, and very very black. Looked like charcoal.
All the male pinks I saw had their humps - big ones. Doesn't seem like there is much in any of the rivers that isn't spawned out and not worth keeping anymore.
