so after the puke my boss and i left for nisqually for some king fishing and it was slow cause they just pulled out the nets at noon.my boss landed this king right away.and right before we left i hooked into a pig and noticed my drag was a little tight when he was fighting so i went to loosen it and turned it the wrong way.the fish right after i did that took a hard pull and the hook came right out.the pic of the pink was from my report earlier from the puyallup and it was only about 4-5lbs...............................keep'em reels spinning

That really is a heck of a hump! I have never fished the Nisqually and was wondering if you could tell me an access point or some decent holes to try??? Keep the lines tight

I heard it was hard to find a spot on the Nisqually, I'm also looking for a spot. Can you recommend anything?

nisqually exit on mounts road and you take a left off the exit if your heading southbound. You head down mounts road for about 2miles and then you'll see all the cars parked and theres two sides to the bridge and the right side is a military access point. If you haven't fished there yet make sure you pretie a lot of leaders. Theres a lot of snags.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE MILITARY OR RETIRED MILITARY OR HAVE A PASS, BECAUSE IF YOU DONT STAY THE HELL OUT. D.O.D COPS ARE ARRESTING PEOPLE WITH OUT THAT. $500.00 FINE AND I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN ON PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE THERE

I thnik the pass is free though, look in the regs. I think it is in the same spot as the river listing. Just make an app. go on base to get your pass and you can fish right next to "ndredneck1" and have a nice conversation while fishing!

well to get a good spot you have to be on the millitary side witch sucks.i fished there one time and thought it was just for parking and its not and the other side is full of snags but there is a couple drifts without them.i would suggest getting that pass

Hey Postal,

That sounds like the same pig Jens and I have lost to, fight extremely hard and goes down river and very hard to bring him back up. If someone ever catches that one with a red 3/0 hook on its mouth, that was mine. Hehe. Nice looking king. Just wondering if the pink with a huge hump is still good eating? Haven't seen any pink with that large of a hump, wondering maybe it just came in from the salt?
