This was my first evening expedition. I got to the river around 5:30pm. The water was murky with it still being about 3 inches of visibility. The sun was at my back instead of in my eyes. I hooked several fish with 4 coming home with me. The most exciting part was when I hooked something and it wasn’t fighting in the pink way. I knew I had a silver or king. But when the tail came out of the water first I could tell I had hooked it in the tail. So maybe it was a pink. When I got it to shore I was excited because it was a silver. It was about 6-8 pounds. The guys that were fishing next to me took a picture of it before it was let it go. I mainly used corkies and yarn at the beginning but toward 6pm I started using eggs with just a corky. It was a great evening.

How far upriver where you Toni? Thanks for the report. I know what you mean about that sun..When I fished there couple weeks ago, if I didn't have my sunglasses, I'd have burned my eyeballs..

I was maybe 200 feet up from the mouth and the Puyallup.
