Location Fished: Parked on the N. side of River Rd (Hwy167). Walked down paved path about 50 yards and too steep sand trail right down to the river.
Lure Type: 1 med orange corkie w/ pink yarn; 15# main; 6’ 12# fluorocarbon leader
Bait Used: Scent
Method: Drift fished
Depth: Had to adjust weight for proper drift (lighten it up). Change from 2 small corkies to 1 med.
Catch Record: Limit of 4 Pinks: 4.3#; 3.0#; 4.4#; 4.0# in 2.5 hours
Additional Notes:
Met up w/ TommyTitan at this spot. Everyone was catching fish. There were only about 10 of us wading in our group w/ plenty of room between us. Down below us were quite a few more anglers, but they still had room between each other. Let me tell you...it was an absolute pleasure to fish next to this group. Everyone of us were catching fish, we were courteous, helpful, recording EVERY catch kept, using proper gear and respectful with each other. And thanks again TT for the partnering up...and yes, my wife asked why I had a hand print on the butt of my waders!
