Fished upriver from the "BIG BEND HOLE" on the BECU side. Arrived around 8AM, two hours prior to high tide. Wasn't much happening the first few hours, until the tide turned. After that,the river seem to become alive with jumping salmon. Some dark, some chrome. Hooked up 16 times, but only managed to land 9 of them. Of the 9, I kept 4 bright females. They were all caught on a pink 1/8oz jig that was twitched. Probably would have hooked more, but I lost my last pink jig to a snag. Tried other color jigs (Chartrues/Black, White/purple) without any success.
