So, I decided to give this green river a try. I heard of the Flaming Glacier being a good spot, but oh no...

There must have been at least 50 cars parked along side the road. NO way to fish. So I headed back down, and figured there would be room by the gold course. There was a spot. I set up and not more then 5 minutes after I started tuber's by the dozen's came floating by, drunk and belligerent

I tried worms, yellow and green rooster-tail, chartreuse power-eggs, power-bait, etc. Nothing. Between the tuber's I could see some fish, but I think they are too spooked.

will NOT be coming back ANY time soon. Another river that's been crap......

I miss oregon........

The River I grw up on, had NO tubers. It was to swift in a lot of places. Boaters yes. And people didn't swim in the open river because it was cold pretty much all year long, and swift. But there was plenty of bows to go around, and summer metalheads, salmon, etc.

It's just up in Washington, the river's have discouraged me a lot. I hope the salmon run this summer will be good.

What do u mean, to ourselves? Not until it starts raining again..............

Yeah its drunken belligerant tuber time for the upper river. Theres a few fish around though if you can find them unmolested. Thanks for the report.
