I launched at Atlantic City about 0800. WOW! what a beautiful day to be on the water. Bright sunny day with just a little breeze from the north.
Water temp 54 degrees. I immediately ran over the the south end of Poverty Rock and started fishing. At about 0915 my salmon rod took a dive.
I went to grab my pole and looked back to the back of the boat and saw a large trout come tail dancing out of the water. Unfortunately, that was
all I saw of the fish. My six lb. leader from my pop gear to my green/silver Coyote spoon broke at the spoon. That was the only action I had
until I got off the water at 1130.
If any one catches a large trout with a green/silver Coyote 3.0 spoon hanging out if it's mouth it is mine.
