My son and I went fishing from 6am until 4pm. He had one Springer King at the boat that dove between the motors and was gone! It might have been 8-10 pounds. Had a couple of bites on drift gear that were big but otherwise it was smolt after smolt. So we switched to divers and shrimp which the king hit about 9:30am. That was it the rest of the day. Now that I came home and looked at the water flows it appears they started to release water at 10:30am. Up 1000cf from what it was and they are still releasing today the 27th at 7:30am. So that might be why we didn’t get many. There were only 3 other boats out that we saw and only a few people on the banks all day. This could be because this is the day after Memorial Day. The weather was just cloudy and it barley sprinkled. We fished within sight of the Toledo Bridge (505) to above Blue Creek Launch.

Thanks for the report Toni, I drove passed the Cow on monday, and was very tempted to fish at Barrier, but we were pretty tired from Riffe..
What was the visibility? Take care...
