TODAY WAS A PERSONAL BEST EVER STEELHEAD DAY .I GOT MY LIMIT AND HIT TWO SILVERS AND LOST ANOTHER STEELHEAD .I HADNT PLANNED ON FISHING ALOT JUST LOOKING AROUND AND UP RIVER BUT I FISHED ENOUGH .I HIT THE FIRST STILLY AROUND 1 OR SO .I STARTED AROUND 12 .THEN I HOOKED A COUPLE SILVERS THAT WERENT TO BAD,THEN I HIT THE BIGGER STILLY ALL IN ABOUT A HOUR .ZERO FISH TILL THEN .THEY BOTH SWALLOWED THE CORKIES DOWN DEEP.I DID LOOSE ANOTHER STILLY AT SHORE WAS AROUND THE SAME SIZE.THE SMALLER ONE WEIGHED 8.4LBS 30 INCHES ,AND THE BIGGER FEMALE WEIGHED 9.7LBS AND 31 INCHES.WHAT A DAY THATS 3 STILLYS SO FAR THIS YEAR FROM THERE .WASNT CROWDED AT ALL .RIVER IS STARTING TO GET BETTER COLOR BUT NOT MUCH DIFFERENT .I USED COMBO COLORED CORKIES AND PEACH YARN WITH MIKES SHRIMP OIL ,10LB MAIN 8LB LEADER.

Those look like silvers to me but I could be wrong I just don't see the tails full of spots like a steelhead would be but it could just be the pics. Either way they are pretty nice especially if they are silvers.

Nice! Looks like a couple of hatchery hens? Caught a bunch that color on the Carbon last year.
Been watching yours and Toni's skook reports the last few weeks. Seemed like a long trip for practice silvers, but those look worth the trip!
I'll be down there early this week. Thanks for the heads up! That the big hole just upriver of the gate?

I realize that some silvers are red but a lot of silvers turn dark too. Also if those were steelhead they should have a very distinct red stripe down them along with a reddish belly.

Nice fish FISHINROB. I don't doubt what you say, it sure looks like a steely, but I wouldn't know since I haven't caught one yet. LOL. Thanks for the nice report. I will be posting later of our skook adventure from today.
