As I was leaving, at my car, the river was right below and 2 dad's and their boys were fishing. One of the youngsters had one red silver on. He couldn't believe he had one. It was fun to watch him.

same stilly and steelie.the silvers were dark and had some red going but were in decent shape but by no means bright .they are big fish and they still fight good ,was fun .some could have been in the 15 lb class but most were 9 to 12lbs.

directions to skook.- from i-5 you take exit 116 and take left at the stop sign. from there you follow to reservation road and take a left up the hill, and you will come to a T, and take another left toward Yelm. you get to yelm and pass mcdonald on your right, there is a light about a block from that and take a right toward tenino. and then after you get to the town of rainier about 5 miles passed rainier there is a left turn onto Johnson creek rd follow for about 20 or until you come to a T and you take a left at the T follow for 2 miles and YOU ARE THERE!!!!! good luck.
