fished at 116th st for the afternoon shift, some chum were rolling but no one was hooking any. I walked up and crossed the river and fished that tail out and found a 5lb 11oz hatchery hen. it was not chrome but i still kept it. I was using a purple egg sucking leech on my spinning rod. It was the only steelhead of the day, stayed till dark.

Right on went today and seen a silver pulled out and i pulled out a 20lb chum!

Nice job! That's funny, the guy with the steelhead yesterday was using purple yarn only, and crossed upstream too. Don't think it was you cause I met you at the Carbon in Oct. Could be wrong. Gotta pick up something purple, I guess. See ya.
