Well i couldn't resist temptation and went to the green to see for myself the mass chums being caught.I went to metzler park in which was busy but still room for me .I started fishing with my jig and prawn pieces with a float ,the chums were all across the river and coming up in groups and singles ,but lots of them.there were guys above me using the same stuff but were killing them ,every few minutes fish on .The chums were varying in sizes and conditions .while i was there i must have seen 40 or so nice chums caught. My main goal was to see it and learn how there doing it .There dying the prawns red and using pink jigs with a black head .I caught my share using a purple and pink jig and prawns but my prawns were natural color i didn't know that till i got there. Was ok to fish very busy and you have to be patient ,but you can get them .There were small drift boats coming thru at times and it looked as though the drifters fished below the area where everyone was bobber fishing.People were friendly and ok to fish next to.Was truly amazing to see so many fish,at times i missed my private fishing spot on the puyallup .I was bummed out that on my way out i seen some carcasas that the eggs were taken but they threw the fish down next to the trail not very cool.Over all a good day and i learned alot .Maybe i can get the chums in the puyallup the same way.Oh one more thing ,there were alot of people using clear water bobbers and seemed to do a little better .Till my next day off which i plan to go back to the green again ,now with my new found knowledge.
