This is a day of thanksgiving! I hooked a fish on the Puyallup and I release it. It was a whopping 12 inches. Trout or jack? I don’t know. It was a silver beauty! The water was very clear- up to 3 feet or more. The temperature in the water was 38 at 9:30 am. I caught it on one small pink and one the next size larger white with pink. Then I tried every thing and every color even night crawlers. I didn’t get any more hookups. A couple other people on the river did catch 3 or 4 chums and a small chrome silver. I fished from 9am-12:30pm.

Right on! Definitely a sweet way to celebrate Thanksgiving. What part of the Puyallup were you?

Thanks Toni. I appreciate it. I've been to the Puy a number of times in the past in around the Skate Rink/Fred Meyer area with zero success.
