I always seem to get a late start for fishing this year. I started after 6pm and quit about 8pm. I fished a couple of tail outs upriver from where I usually fish. Nice water and I couldn’t figure out why no one was there (except one person) at 6:30pm when we got there. Everyone came at 7 when the fish started showing themselves (silvers jumping). Water was clearer than it was on Tuesday. I noticed for the Carbon and the Puyallup that the flow goes up in the late evening and comes down during the day from the USGS site.
We didn’t catch any fish and I only saw 2 silvers leaving with their owners. But I did hear a story of a 30 lb native king that was returned to the river. I do hope you guys so make a report. It is your story we all would like to read about.
