well it all started when i got to my buddies house who lives on the the river late .I was unprepared from the night before so i had to rig up ,while i was rigging up people on the bar were hitn silvers my partner was hitn em.Here i am finaly getn in the the water using my smalli mean small two orange corkies and pink yarn with 8lb flourocarbon leader instead of 20lb big difference,i make my cast into the depths of the river hopn for silver. On my 3rd cast i hit my first silver 7 am get it in and into the ice chest right around 7lbs .I get it punched and in the water i go ,7:30 hits and i get another silver on its only 5 or so lbs i put it back .I get lots of fish on fish off for next few hours.I take a break get something to eat come back and started at around 3:30 .I didn't get anything till 4:15 or so then all heck broke out .I hook up with a fish that right away i know its big but you cant see em so you don't ever know if its a king or silver .Well it was a king in the 18lb class or so but as the rule book states NATIVES go back .Then my 3rd cast after still using the same leader (8lb)i start throwing again and bam silver on right around 8lbs but i was holden out so i released it .then about 6 casts later i hit a 12-14 lb king it was a hatchery was just a little dark but i decide i want a toad silver so i released him back .then it went silent for a while i was second guessing not keeping the one silver .It was starting to get to the nitty gritty time of the evening when i hit the final fish of the evening, 7-8 lbs not the toad i was lookin for but none the less a good fish. All in all a great day and all the fish caught today were on the same beaten up 8 lb leader not leaders but leader amazing stuff .I wanted to note there was a family fishn across from me on the other side of the river and one of two daughters fishing caught and reeled in a 10lb silver she did an awesome job i didn't catch her name but her performance was the highlight of the day ,she handled things just fine good job .Anyway awesome day for me .

I USE 8LB LEADER WITH SMALL CORKIES AND YARN WITH PRO CURE PRAWM/SHRIMP WHICH SEEMS TO GET AN EXTRA FISH NOW AND AGAIN .ORANGE AND PINK CORKIES WITH LITTLE YARN ABOUT 5-6 FT OF LEADER .I HAVE YET TO SEE SOMEONE CATCH FISH ON SPINNERS OR ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THEN CORKIES OR SPIN N GLOWS .
