I almost ran out of gear today. I snagged trees, rocks and everything but a fish at the Carbon and the Puyallup.
The Carbon visibility was up to 8-9”. The hole I was at had 8 other people. I saw 3 silvers and 1 king hooked. One silver was snagged (not on purpose) and released. Another jumped and was off; the king was dark and released. The other one (mine) got off at the bank as we were trying to get it in. I might have to get a net for these bank areas. We would have brought it home if I had a net. My son couldn’t quite get a grip on it. It was a fighting fish. I enjoyed it.
Further down the river someone got a nice king that I didn’t get to see but it was reported to be chrome. We fished 6-8pm. The fish started hitting about 7pm.
