Got the river this morning around 630 and found what I expected to find, A LOT OF PEOPLE! None the less found a spot up river of the skate park in orting and starting flinging my corky out. I had 5 pre made set ups thanks to my son and lost every single one of them. The guys up river from me all hooked a king this morning. Enjoyable to watch, but frustrating at the same time. I guess the reason they weren't fishing that end was that's where the snags were. Live and learn and next time I'll just have to get there earlier to get a better spot!
