We fished the Pend Oreille around Panhandle looking for our first Northern Pike. On this first Day thought I made a mistake because after six hours of fishing I only caught 2 Smallies, 2 Largemouth and one pike minnow while casting for Northerns. We didn’t even see a single Northern the entire day. I thought these fish were though out the river! Well Jr. had his best day ever, broke 2 personal best, not bad for an 8yr old! Kenny hooked into this 5lb 1oz Smallie then landed this 3lb 9oz Largemouth with-in an hour! He was casting and bouncing his secret color tube. There’s always tomorrow for pike!
