The place was the Cowlitz River Blue Creek Area. Weather was cloudy and very cool. Water temp was cold. I don't know what the flow was like since I don't have anything to compare it with. Fishing was HOT, FANTASIC, SUBPERB, EXCELLENT, EXCEPTIONAL, FUN, and SATSIFYING. Well worth the lack of sleep. I went, for the first time, on a guided fishing trip with Phil and Michelle of Mystical Legends Guide Service and caught my limit of steelhead. We free drifted with shrimp and got most of the fish by 7am. Then diver fished, I am sorry I can’t remember what it is called exactly. We got the last two fish doing the diver thing, finishing up around 2pm. Just a great day and I didn’t have to clean the fish!!
