Way to go Napoleon! 22.5 inch brownie caught with a green and yellow super duper. What a beautiful little fishing paradise. I wonder why we never see other fishermen?

The Little Spokane River is a beautiful little stream and a fishing "paradise", but fish like this are not common by any means. I have fished the river quite extensively for a number of years and have caught a few browns, but nothing of this size. Its up to each fisherman to make this call, but given the nature of the fishery, and the relatively few number of brown trout that live in the river, it would be good for all of us to consider whether or not we need to keep (kill) fish like the one in the photo. Its a great catch and accomplishment that is not diminished in the least by releasing the fish unharmed. While its a good thing to keep fish and eat them, its not always the best thing to do in every situation. Just some food for thought. Peace.

HAHA just stumbled upon this post. Disgrace to fishermen? Really?!?! These comments must be from some of the people who release the dead fish I always see floating down the river. See the blood anyone? That means the fish was wounded during the fight, aka probably would die soon if released. What a joke. Nice fish by the way.
