It was a beautiful day to go fishing, sunny and warm! I went to the hatchery and fished from the boat launch down just a bit to a log pile. Used a float and jig starting with pink then switched to white. Water looked great but no bites. Drove from the hatchery back down to the 101 highway and tried the park right there across the intersection for a couple of hours focusing on the water under the bridge (both sides). Tried the same tactics starting with pink then white and got the same results. It is a beautiful river and I had a great time but it sure would have been all worth-while if I would have at least got a hook-up... or even a fish.... anything!!!
