I fished 11am to 1pm without getting anything. I used corky and yarn, spoon, spinner, float and jig. Water was 38 degrees, air temp was 42. The water was so clear and it was low. It rained for short periods of time. There was a guy up river from me and he tried lots of things to. He tried a pink worm that I didn’t try. While I was there he didn’t get anything either.

hey toni i was on the carbon on super bowl sunday. i started at the puyallup off of 115th street for a couple hours. one guy caught a nice bright steelhead i helped him net it in. but he released it because it was a wild. but man it was a beautiful fish. then after a couple of hours of not catching anything, i went to the Mcmillan bridge and saw one guy with a fly rod he had just got there and he didnt see anyone catch anything either. after those 2 places i went to the carbon and stayed till about 1:30. i started at 8 am i saw 2 fish caught at the carbon one was a coho and the other was a white fish. other than that it was a crappy day of fishing. i was using a scent enhancer that said it smelled like sand shrimp, and i also went and got some cured sand shrimp, no bites. from reading a lot of your reports. is there an advice you can give me, or is the steelhead run pretty much over? and if it is do they come back in march? i really want to catch one. appreciate any help you can give me, thanks.

115th st at puyallup river is a good spot. i saw many people catch fish there. mcmillan bridge is too fast and shallow, fish will not likely to be holding there for long. i heard that green river is doing well. perhaps try there? anyone knows good spot at the green river with a decent bank to fish on?
