Well it sure felt cold. The river was clear-visibility around 2.5 feet. One other person tried fishing but he didn’t stay long. Hooked into a silver that jumped out of the river throwing my hook and then he jumped again as I was reeling in, as if to say good bye. I was using a pink and purple corky with purple yarn.
It was a great 3 months at this spot. Some guys caught more than I did but I am very happy with my catching this season.

The Reason why salmon jump is because they don't have middle fingers!

LOL! Thanks Derrick. When the river is clear thats the time to fish it. The fish will actually bite. You might have to move around a little, but try some spoons or eggs I hear there is some steelhead starting to come in...

Nah, he wasn't givin' me the middle fin. He jumped to say hi and bye. That was the last time I can fish for Salmon in the Carbon. I will have to find Steelhead or move down a mile to the Puyallup.
