Saturday, 12/21, we launched at Sayres Pits right at sunrise. We headed straight for the I-90 bridge and started fishing. We made one pass by the bridge. No luck. We started making our way over to the north end of Poverty Rock and straight north to Bill's house. I had one solid bite in front of Bill's place on pop gear, wedding ring, and worm but the fish did not make it to the boat. We continued on to the 520 bridge. Fished the length of the bridge then turned left and started to head south along the west shore of the lake. By this time we had been trolling for six hours and no fish in the boat. Once we got the I-90 bridge again we decided to pack it up and head back to the launch.
Sunday, 12/22, we launched at Atlantic City and fished the south end of Poverty Rock. We made our way over to Coulon Park and made two passes in front of the park. We then headed north up the east side of the island. I did manage to pick up a small cutthroat right around the south east corner of the island. I took a picture of the fish and sent him back into the water to get a little bigger. After that it started to rain so we decided to head back to the launch around 2PM.
