Fishing on the Carbon River was great today. It was lower than Monday and wasn’t the milky cloudy but green cloudy. The first 4 hours were slow then when others left and I moved into a spot that was stacked with pinks. They were fresh, very few with humps. I used various colors all with yarn. I brought home 2 for smokin’. They were about 20”-22”. I was too tired to measure or weigh them. Not one silver did we see in our hole but the guy across from me hooked a king that unhooked itself.

Those are some nice fish there Toni. It seems like not only are you getting the hang of river/salmon fishing but you are becoming a real pro.

These are good colored. I like them smoked and have cooked the ones with orange flesh on the BBQ , I also made great salmon fritters.

Is your monitor having problems with color?
