I have been fishing the Spokane River between the Division street bridge and the Monroe street bridge during the day on my lunch. It is nice to get out of the office for a while and enjoy the water that is only a ten min walk away. I have been catching trout and suckers and a occasional smallie down there. The biggest trout I have caught in the last two months was a 16.5 inch fatty that I landed on Tues and it went back unharmed. You can catch suckers on bread down there until you are blue in the face.
