hit the lower yakima early Saturday. again, water was running high for irrigation purposes. so, only a few bites and boat drifters were the only fisherpeople catching them. using chartreuse grubs (small). i tried again Sunday morning, water was on the way up, so, i tried a different way of approaching them. i threw the grubs into fast water, concentrating on cutbank edges, caught 3- lbers in 3 casts, and then it started to rain and the bite stopped.CRAZY! im going to let the river come down about 1000 cfs before i try again. heading to mardon for 4 days next week-end. my luck will change!
