met dbaker on the lower yak, supposedly to show him some "hot" fishing. just caught some dinks (smallies), and no catfish. first time this year, but after reading the water tables, the river was up a foot for irrigation purposes, so, i believe it was the difference. i was a lil miffed so i went back yesterday and used watermelon grubs and had a better day, a few dinks, but 2 in the 3 lb class. a lot better day. thanks for coming out dbaker!
