Decided to fish between the Hood Canal Bridge and Dabob Bay this weekend with 2 other friends. Launched out of Salisbury Point and headed south. We fished the first incoming tides of the day. The fishing was nothing short of spectacular. We had boat limits both days but had to work for it. Everything from purple haze squid,, cut plug herring, green squid, tailwagger spoons, all caught fish. You have to find the schools and stick with them in hood canal. Depth on the wire was 35-120, and we were mostly in the middle of the canal. This was my first time fishing Hood Canal and not to gar of a run from Everett. The fish were about 7 pounds on average and all Hatchery. BE aware that if you dont launch in Everett or Edmonds, the ferry system will rob you, it is quite expensive to travel with a trailer which I did on Saturday from Edmonds. Launched out of Everett today. THANK Jesus.Sorry no pics, but I think people know what silver's looks like and can read regs on what is open and what is not. I

I hear ya on the trailer/Ferry costs. I did it about 7-8 years ago. I think I paid like $60.00 each way or something!
