Nice day on the water. Overcast and cool to start with, then the cloud cover weakened and it warmed up nicely. Light winds and fairly calm. We left Swantown at low tide, around 11:30. and ran out to Zittel's. Dropped a pot in about 100' of water, about a mile SE of Zittel's Marina. Soaked an hour and pulled up some undersized Dungeness, all around four inches. Sent them all home to grow and ran back over to the South tip of Harstine. Again, went about 100' deep. We went over to Boston Harbor for fuel and clam chowder, cam back, had lunch and drifted for a while. After about an hour and a half soak we pulled up three good sized Red Rock Crab, all about 6 1/2 inches. Took them home and had wonderful crab cakes for dinner. IMHO, any day on the water is a good day.
