We were on the water by 8:15 A.M. My husband, Tom, caught a couple 4-6 in. cutthroat, trolling a fly. We stayed on the water, hiding in a cove during the skiing part of the day. Since it was cloudy and cool, the lake didn't get that busy with speed boats and jet skis. We ventured back onto the main part of the lake at about 1:00. This time, trolling a Husky Jerk, Tom hooked into a nice 4-5# smallmouth that got away at the last minute. Right before we left, trolling a fly again, Tom caught a fat 12 in. rainbow.
