first report post! Me and the wife picked up two limits of Rockfish and she caught a limit of lingcod. Drifted on the river side of the south jetty for the Rockfish. Lingcod came from the south side. Rock fish caught on 3 inch B2 squids in UV purple haze on a drop shot rig in 25 to 50 FOW. Lingcod caught on 8 inch Berkley gulp grubs on lead heads. The ocean was great all day no wind and a 2 to 3 foot swell. Really almost saw a guy capsize in a 16 foot boat at the end of the jetty. He turned his back to the swell and I looked up just in time to see about a five footer break on top of him. He was able to throttle out of it but he took on some water. Everyone was OK but it was a close call. Overall one of the best days I've had at Westport. The rockfish are running big this year too! There's a couple there around 4 pounds!
