The semi annual Sekiu Coho fishing trip is in the books for 2015. No bigger fish for use and most of the fishermen who were out during the wild/hatchery 3 day opener. We only managed 3 clipped Coho for us on Tuesday as the bite dropped off as well as the number of fish out there.
The weather turned nasty for Saturday/Sunday making for some rough waters but that just mad the hookups that more interesting. I kept to the 4"-4 1/2" hoochies/flies/spoons as the shakers would grab anything smaller than that no matter where or the depth you were fishing. The better luck occurred out in the 500-800 FT depths fishing from 25-95 FT down on the gear.
The Olson's resort has made improvements and we enjoyed the time.
