Went on my first fishing charter. I just had to share about it because it was amazing! We left dock a little after 5:20 am. Or there about. It was foggy morning. The water was rough and it was one fun ride out here but arrived in good time and started hunting for Tuna. We followed the birds mostly. Set of the trolling poll and it got hit quick. Then it was switch over to bait. When I put line in I got a hook up right away. My line screamed as that fish ran like mad. What a thrill the power behind that torpedo shaped fish. Almost everyone got a fish on right away. They were fighters even the smaller ones. It was intense and my arms were so sore after but it was well worth it. I learned the dance on the boat. I came home with loads of fish about 9 total. cleaned and loined. Now I have tons of Tuna and just finished processing it all. Tuna belly smoked slowly on the grill is amazing tasting so it Tuna this fresh. It was my first time on the ocean and first time going for Albacore. I have to say loved it! Sorry no pictures I kept my phone stored well away to prevent water damage. I will be back next year and hopefully more in shape. I think Tuna season is well worth it.
We saw some sharks too and a few of em tried to take swipes at our fish as we brought em in.. lucky for us the sharks missed. Still had to contend with some sharks on the line but not too many.
We were on the water till we filled the boat then back to port.
