Out the door and to Dolphin Pt by 5:45 PM to pursue the elusive summer run Chinook. Got the gear in the water down to 65 FT, Irish Cream Tailwagger Spoon behind the Hot Shot 11" flasher trolled with the flood. At 6:15 I get the solid takedown and a 12 LB clipped Coho hits the deck. By 7:15 the second clipped Chinook, 10 LBS, hits the deck as well. The 2nd king took off on a run back toward the Ferry Dock pulling 279 FT of line off the reel!! So had 2 legal kings just after the high slack.
