Lake Chelan has continued to kick out lots of lakers with a sprinkling of bigger fish. We have focused on the basin above the Yacht Club in depths varying from 220' to 353' feet. I actually had a client crank a fish up from 405'. Watch your angles to avoid tangles. A little wind can mess you up a lot with that much line out. I've been retying a fair amount. The fish have been mostly 3 to 8 pounds. We have been getting most of our fish on U-20 flatfish and K-Lures. Most fish have been caught within a few feet of the bottom, but there have been some notable exceptions. These fish have to roam up in the water column as they are full of kokanee. The area near Pat and Mikes has also been kicking out a lot of lakers with some fish over 10 pounds in the mix.
Roses has continued to kick out limits of rainbows from 9 to 15 inches to both trollers and bank anglers.
