Decided to try to go after some pinks today while the crab pots were soaking. Trolled 30' down on the wire along Browns Point for an hour or so and ended up getting one. Gave it a '3' rating since it is a still a little early and a little surprised I got one. Saw several fish on the finder while trolling in the 25 - 40' range. Used an 8" chrome flasher with a pink and chrome spoon. Not a big one but nice to catch one. Been crabbing three times this year and not too much luck. 2 dungy's and 4 red rock. Still looking for the crab.

Crabbed Vashon 2 weeks ago and only got a couple of Dung. A few Rocks too. The day before we crabbed along the NE side of Bainbridge. Got 13 Dung and 8 Rocks in about 3 hrs-worth of soak time. Our best haul has been just outside the breakwater at Shilshole Marina. Still pissed I drove the boat down so far to Vashon for nothing!
