On station at 4:30 AM to start day two. Put the combination on that got the keeper yesterday but it did not work, switched combinations for the morning until i hooked up using a Silver Horde green/glow hoochie/11" Pro Troll Flasher. Lots of weight but not really fighting, thought it might be a snagged dogfish but once I got a look it was the biggest Chinook of the early season! As luck would have it, a native to throw salt into the wound!! Released it safely and continued to fish until after 9 AM with no other results.
There was at least 75 boats up to 100 working the Possession area, no telling the boat count over on the PnP area. I didn't really see any massive bite going on at the tide turn or through the morning.
The dogfish are out there and even hooked up on a single spoon but if your using bait/herring strips beware!!
