My Son and I fished Teal lake Sunday after having limited success at Lake Leland. It was recommended by an older gentleman fishing next to us at the Leland fishing dock. I initially just wanted to take a look at the lake on the way home, but after seeing it we just had to try for awhile. We were looking for panfish and the couple fishing from the pier said we were in the right place. Caught about 30 bluegill in a couple hours, just big enough to get decent fillets from. According to everyone there, bluegill are a nuisance so they were happy to see us throwing them in our cooler instead of back into the lake. I assured them that I would do my part in thinning the bluegill population this summer as it is the closest place to my home where I can get gills in good numbers. Great lake as far as I'm concerned: Small, no motors, kind of secluded, reminds me of farm ponds back in Nebraska when I was a kid.
