Although it was a beautiful morning of fog and calm winds and water, and fish were in the area, I was not having any luck throwing out my seahawk fly (green yarn, blue rubber legs and a bit of green flash). The guys with the bobber and herring/anchovies did consistently better over the 2.5 hours I fished, with two guys doing very well. Most everyone else was lucky to get a bite. The guys in boats were doing just a tad better overall. The tide was going out and everyone thought it would get better once it started coming back in - but I had to leave prior to that. Lots of gillnets in the area, too. Another day, another chance.
