I have been fishing Pine Lake for many years and the people who fish it are the nicest group of fishermen that you will ever meet. If you hook a big one and didn't bring a net, someone will net your fish for you. There is an atmosphere of co-operation on the dock. A very laid-back attitude exists on Pine Lake. You have to work hard for your fish, but there are plenty of fish in the lake.
I started at 10:30 AM fishing worms right on the bottom. I had my limit at 3 PM. I caught four rainbows and one brown, nothing under 12". The veterans use two basic rigs on Pine Lake: either chartreuse power eggs covered with Smelly Jelly (either anchovy/salt or shrimp) with a very long leader or worms right on the bottom.
Great lake, good fishing, nice people, relaxing atmosphere and great facilities. Everyone on the dock will share what is working if you ask.
