With the boat in the shop I decided to dust off the waders. Walked out to the point and started fishing around 6:30. A lot of boats trolling the bar but didn't see any nets... Cause there all hugging the shoreline. Landed two 4-5 pounders within an hour on a rotator. Both hit in about 3 ft of water. Look like residents but I'll take em. I hear mid island on the west side has been decent as well from the beach.

A few limited out this morning mid-island and some walked off with one fish. I din fish but i stopped by to see what guys still on the beach had to say on my way home from the dump. Probably should have fished first then do errands.
