Put in around 1130 at the Manchester ramp, shot up north a little and dropped 4 traps between 70 and 110 ft of water. Kids were having a great time watching the planes from Seafair fly over and we decided to shoot over to Maggies for lunch. Came back to pots just chocker block full of Dungies! Flounder from yesterday was the bait of choice, smallest ones were released females, we only kept crabs 8" or better all day, that first soak left us with 5 spots left on our cards, so we dropped back down and did some bottom fishing, must have found a weird spot because we caught 10 rockfish in a row on squid, moved away from there because we didnt wanna hurt any of them. Drifted and grabbed a few more flounder before calling it a day around 5:30. Over all a great day on the water with the family..... Until we got back to the ramp. So as usual, I tie off to the dock, run up and jump in the truck and get in line, back down the ramp and jump in the boat. I come around and pass an older lady standing on the dock, who proceeds to yell "We're in line!" thinking she was joking I smile and continue onto my trailer. She walks up the dock yelling obcenities at me, "F*cking Kidnap county trash", "Sh*it for brains" and the like....... I trailer my boat and my wife pulls ot out of the water. We get to the top and my 3 and 5 year old ask "Dad, why was that lady yelling mean words at you?" That was when I got mad, I politely walked over to her husband and asked him if he could keep his wife under control please as there were kids around. His only resposne "I was I could control that bi*ch". Some people just don't understand that the boat line means nothing when the truck line is empty. Did she expect me to wait in my truck on an empty ramp for her husband to figure out where his truck was and get in front of me? Sorry for the rant. People just get on my nerves 90% of the time!
