Fished lake meridian today. I was trolling with a red wedding ring to start out with, put power bait on the hook because I forgot the worms. Got a lot of bites and caught one, but missed a lot. Then put on a flasher and straight power bait. I only caught 2 fish, those dinky 8 inch planters. Looks like I need to find my own "honey hole" so I can catch some triploids. I caught a 5 1/2 pound trout out of Meridian probably 3 years ago, so you never know what your next bite will bring.
