I went out to Lake Meridian today because they were having the Kent CCornucopia days out there. It kept the water skiers away and I was the only fishing boat on the lake, except two float tubes. I caught 3 nice smallmouth off the same dock at about 9:30 am. I was using a grub 5 inches long. I wont tell you what kind they are but they are the best ;). Two of the smallies were 15-16 inches and 2 pounds each, and the other was a nice foot long. Damn they fought hard, took me a minute to get them to the surface.
