Took a solo trip to the San Juans on Saturday in my trusty Arima. Launched at Cornet Bay with no crowds or lines. Blasted West and fished in the south parts of Area 7. Only had one hit for the day, but it was a clipped 5-6 pound blackmouth, so it went home with me. Used a Qcove Killer Crush Flasher and a Silver Horde Irish Cream Tailwagger spoon. Had the gear right in the dirt. Actually thought I was hitting bottom at first when I got the hit.

When the sun came out it got really windy outside and hard to control the boat and fish effectively, so I ducked inside the islands for a time. No luck in there, but got nice calm water to eat lunch and clean the fish in.

Played around with my GoPros... one mounted on the hard top and one on me... just learning the video deal and editing... enjoy!

Good quality on that video! What type of camera are you using if you don't mind sharing. Nice fish also!

The roof video is from a GoPro3 Black Edition, except going back thru Deception Pass. Chest cam and returning footage is from my older GoPro2. Edited with Microsoft Movie Maker. When saving the movie out of Movie Maker, I chose the HP option, rather than the "for computer" option which seemed lower quality.
