Started fishing around 12:30 or so and finished around 3:30. Decided to do a survey of my fly box. Almost caught a 'bow right at the dock with a black tail/hackle W/bugger with green body. Switched to a chartreuse carey special and scored, again, right next to the dock. Tells you something, eh? Rainbow was fat and maybe around 14 or 15 inches. I think this had to have been one of those triploids--fat and lethargic like a spayed house cat. Oh well. Decided to switch flies and try and harass the carp. Nothing on that account. Someday, I'll have to try the fly I tied from pigeon-butt feathers. That ought to be skanky enough for them.
