So I guess if you are a boat owner in Washington, Oregon or Idaho you were required to fish between Edmonds and Mukilteo today? Wow! I thought I was at Buoy 10 or Tillamook. Ha!
Fished the flood from around 8:30 am until almost noon. Started just S. of Mukilteo and trolled back and forth between there and the Shipwreck. We were dragging the ubiquitous white flasher / pink hoochie spiced up with some UV glow shrimp pro-scent. We trolled in about 120-150 ft of water with the down riggers set between 45 and 65 ft. We were well inside where the rest of the fleet was plying their wares. I am guessing they were in about 300 ft and looking for early silvers but I'm kind of a noob to this area so I am all up for a correction??? Despite the sloppy conditions we nailed a couple of decent pinks. Today's score: 4 take downs, 3 hook ups and 2 in the boat. Pink action seemed to be stronger in less than 150 feet of water by the 'nets up' count today. Can't wait till next week to try it again.
